Does Sync.ME add Full Screen pictures to my contacts?
Yes! Sync.ME adds a full screen profile picture from Facebook to your contacts. You can choose between 3 photo size options: Fit to Call Screen, Full Screen and Thumbnail.
NOTE: If you are using Google Sync / Exchange, the picture size may change to a small contact picture. Both services tend to replace full screen contact pictures with small thumbnails. A workaround is to disable their contact sync feature and use CardDAV instead, which solves the problem. For more information on CardDAV with Google, see this site:

How does Sync.ME sync my contacts with Facebook?
Sync.ME tries to link your contacts to the corresponding Facebook friends by comparing their names. Names don't have to match exactly because Sync.ME knows to find similarity in names. Comparison results are presented to you for review before the actual sync process begin and are divided into three sections:

Matched - Contacts that Sync.ME found for them a matching Facebook friend

Conflicts - Contacts that Sync.ME is not sure about their match. Tapping on these contacts will reveal match suggestions so you can easily solve the conflict and link the contact to the matching Facebook friend.

Unmatched - Contacts that Sync.ME didn't find a matching Facebook friend for them. It is still important to review Unmatched contacts because you may find contacts with aliases ("Dad", "Mom", etc.) or contacts with big spelling mistakes. You can easily match these contacts to the corresponding Facebook friends manually.
Why doesn't Sync.ME sync / import email addresses or phone numbers?
Sync.ME uses Facebook's official iOS SDK to connect with Facebook and must comply with Facebook's Terms Of Use. Facebook decided to block access for 3rd party applications to friends’ email addresses & phone numbers.
Sync.ME does sync & import all relevant data allowed by Facebook. If Facebook will decide to allow us to pull more information in the future, you can be sure we will add it to Sync.ME.
Why are all of my Facebook friends now in my contact list?
If you have iOS6, this may be due to the device’s automatic Facebook integration. This pulls in all of your Facebook friends into your contact list, and is unrelated to Sync.ME. You can check if the Facebook iOS integration is turned on in your phone, by going into your device settings: Settings->Facebook->Contacts. Turn this Off. to disable.
Why do I have duplicate contacts or birthdays?
Duplicates may be due to iOS6 automatic Facebook integration. This is unrelated to Sync.ME, and can be disabled by going into your device settings: Settings->Facebook->Contacts.. Turn this Off to disable.
My iOS Facebook integration is disabled, but I’m still seeing duplicates/multiple contacts.
If you are using a separate contact exchange (such as Google Sync, Outlook, etc.), you may see multiple contacts listed for the same person. In order to minimize these issues, we recommend to use CardDAV, instead of your normal contact exchange. For more information on syncing your contacts with CardDAV, click here:

PRIVACY
Why do I need to grant Sync.ME Facebook Permissions?
In order to sync your contacts with Facebook, we will need you to grant us permissions on Facebook. We will NEVER post to Facebook without your explicit permission.
Why do I need to provide my phone number?
This helps us with Smart Matching of your contacts. Sync.ME will never give out your number and personal details without your permission.
Why should I enable you to post on my wall?
This permission is required in order to allow you to write on your friends’ Wall and send them gifts. We never auto-post to your Wall or your friends’ Walls.

How do I adjust my Privacy Settings? What if I don’t want all of my information synced?
Sync.ME syncs the information according to users’ privacy settings on Facebook. You can change this information by going into your privacy settings on your Facebook account.
OVERWRITE SETTINGS
What is Overwrite?
The Overwrite function refers to updating existing contact details with new info from Facebook. Carefully read this in order to understand the Overwrite function.
Overwrite Off disables overwriting original contact details (entered in the contact). Sync.ME knows contact list information is important, so the default sync setting for Overwrite is Off. If you have contact pictures and information already listed in your contact list, Sync.ME will not overwrite & update this information.
The overwrite setting does not refer to empty contact details. For instance, if a contact is missing contact details, such as a website or photo, the new info from your contacts’ social network profile will be integrated into your contacts, even if Overwrite is disabled.
What does it mean to turn Overwrite On?
Enabling the
Overwrite feature (turning it On) allows Sync.ME to manage these fields and update each sync for you. Once Sync.ME retrieves and changes contact information, this will be automatically updated on each sync.
If you would like to change the Overwrite settings, go to: More->Sync Settings.
To Overwrite the pictures, make Overwrite Existing under Sync Photos (On).
You can choose which information to Overwrite by tapping: Information. Once that is set, you can enable Overwrite for these details by tapping: Overwrite Existing (On).
Can I create custom Sync Settings for different contacts?
Yes. You can create custom sync settings by going into your contact’s details. Scroll down to Sync Settings->Custom Settings (On).
PICTURES
My contacts’ pictures are not Full Screen
Sometimes you may have to redo the settings in the app just to make sure that the app adjusts them. Go to: More->Sync Settings. Change the setting to Thumbnail, and then change it back to Full Screen. Then Sync again.
BIRTHDAYS
How do I remove my contacts’ birthdays from my phone calendar?
You can easily show or remove birthdays from your phone calendar through the Calendar app in your phone. When you are in the Home screen, go into the Calendar->Calendars->Birthdays. Check to view the birthday, or Uncheck to remove them. Then press Done.
How do I send a birthday gift?
The gifts are located on each person's contact page. Go into the contact you wish to send a gift to. Scroll down, and you will see on the bottom left Send a gift. There you can choose which gift to send to your friends.
Miscellaneous
What if I want ALL of my FB contacts synced?
Sync.ME currently retrieves Facebook information from your existing phone contacts. If you would like all of your Facebook friends to be integrated in your contact list, you will need to do this separately.
Please note: if you do integrate all of your Facebook friends into your contact list, it may cause duplicates and other issues with Sync.ME.
My Contact was incorrectly matched / Wrong Info
Not a problem - You can correct an incorrect match by going into the Contacts tab in the application. On the bottom of the page tap Wrong FB profile, then hit Disconnect. If you want to manually match this contact, then tap Find Match to select the matching Facebook friend.
How can I edit my phone number?
You can edit your phone number by going into: More->Reset->Delete Account. Here you will see your information, where you can edit it
How do I change my Facebook account?
To change your Facebook account, you will first need to logout of your existing account. Go to: More->Sync Settings->Logout. This will take you out of the old account. Once you sync again, you will be taken to your new Facebook account.

Voip/Cheap Call/OutCall
What is Cheap Call and what does it do?
The Cheap Call feature (also known as OutCall or voip) is a new function that allows you to make and record domestic and international calls. In order to use the feature you can purchase pre-paid credit. Credit is a few cents per minute depending on call destination and if the call will be made to a mobile phone or a landline.

How to add credit to Cheap Call?
When you are in a contact, hit Cheap Call->Credit. Once you've chosen your plan, hit "Add Credit".
Can I see the credit amount and time left on Cheap Calls?
You can see your credit amount in two ways: First in the Sync.ME main page, go to More->Cheap Calls->My Credit. You can also see the credit amount during a call. While you're on a call you can see the remaining credits by tapping on the Credit button on the bottom right. The remaining credit will appear on the upper left corner of the screen.
I want to remove the Cheap Call option from my contacts
You can remove the option to see the Cheap Call feature from your contacts by hitting More->Cheap Calls->Add to Contacts
Call Record
What is Call Recording and how does it work?
Call Recording is a Cheap Call feature in which you can record the phone conversation, and in addition, you can send the recording. Cheap Call is prepaid credit that allows you to make domestic and international calls. Conversations can only be recorded during a Cheap Call, and in order to use this feature you must purchase pre-paid credit. When you are in a contact, hit Cheap Call->Credit. Once you've chosen your plan, hit "Add Credit".
To record a Cheap Call conversation: Find the contact you wish to call. Press
"Cheap Call" then press the "Record" button on the bottom left. At the end of the conversation, you will be able to send yourself the recording via email. Call recordings can also be sent at any time by pressing:
More->Recordings.
